       Hello Boys and Girls:
I have a rather serious problem with my Heath HW-104. I picked this transceiver up as a winter project, and here it is summer and I still have problems with it, so I thought I would call on the experts. I have been able to repair the receiver, the transmitter is up to full power, and I was able to purchase a update manual and have done all it has recommended, my problem is I can't get the receiver to completely mute. The diodes in the front end are reverse biasing as the book says, both relays are switching as they should, I have been over this thing from one end to the other. If anyone has any ideas please pass them along, I'm retired and repairing Heathkits is kind of a hobby. I really like this HW-104 and I want to get it repaired. Thanks everyone
