Is anyone out there interested in buying a Heathkit AT-1 transmitter?
This is Heathkit's first transmitter kit, as you collectors know.
They tell me it should sell for about $150, but I'm open to offers.
I have 8 crystals to go with it, and can also include the Heathkit HG10-B VFO along with it.
This has been in my attic for years. I tested it a year ago, and again today. The output into a dummy load is 7 watts on 80m, 6 watts on 40 m, 5 watts on 20m, 2.5 watts on 15m, and 2.5 watts on 10m. It's functional, and perhaps putting in new electrolytics would increase the power output somehwat (I think the output was in the range of 15 watts on 80m originally - the final INPUT power was in the 30 watt range).
Cosmetically, there are some scratches on the bottom corner of the front panel where I installed a phono jack to connect the VFO
(I can send a photo if interested).
If anyone is interested, contact me.
