Oh, and if you're new to power amplifiers, be very careful working on it -
maybe find someone with experience...you get no second chances with 3400 V
(+/-).

Also remember a 20% loss of power is only 1 dB, and that's what, 1/6 of a
'textbook S-unit', but 20% overload on the tube will shorten the life
significantly. I know most hams would HATE to see a 20% power loss, and it
wouldn't be acceptable in broadcasting, but it has little practical
significance to signal strength.
