Try reversing the diode in the Harbach mod. There was an article on this
problem in (I think) CQ back in the 80's. The article was on a self
contained battery powered switching unit for any rig using a switching
transistor. I remember the article said to reverse the diode if it held
the SB-220 etc., relay on.
