Information on Lightning Protection

Don't remember which list was just discussing lightning protection but I
just had the occasion to do some research on the subject at work and
found an excellent site for a lot of very good and technically solid
information on the subject:

The above link will take you directly to a list of downloadable pdf
files on a wide variety of lightning related subjects.  Of particular
interest for hams would be document id: PTD1016 "Ham Radio Station
Protection".

Polyphaser is a one of the top companies in the field.  Their products
seem to be highly regarded and are not terribly expensive (e.g. about
$60 for a dc blocked coax protector). So hop on over to their site and
take a look.

By the way, I have absolutely no connection to Polyphaser except as an
occasional customer.
