B-1 Balun Specs...

Just a note...My B-1 Balun manul shows the ratings as " 4:1 300 to 75 ohms,
or 1:1 75 Bal to 75 Unbalanced, for transmitter with up to 250 watts input.
There is no mention of the mode, but given the age of the unit , I would
think that AM would have been the expected mode along with CW... if the
transmitter had a 70% eff., that would equate to about 150 watts AM... so it
should be able to handle around 600 watts PEP...
Has anyone used the B-1 at higher power levels..?? 73 de Jordan....
