SB-101 Station

folks,

    after much inner reflection and worry, i have decided to sell my sb-101
station. but know up front, this station is sold AS IS!! i stress that
because it saves problems down the road. this station works and is still on
the bench. it includes the following:

    1 SB-101 Transceiver 100+ watts output on all bands as read on a hm-102
watt meter. cosmetics is about a 7. reason is, it could use a re-paint and
is missing the little metal "heathkit" emblem above the tuning dial. no
letter rubs and all the knobs are there. has the tube mod for receive
sensitivity. this rig has the heath cw filter and the little arm to activate
it is not broke. sometimes when the band is dead, the s meter will stay at
zero until i find a strong signal and turn to the hv setting to get the
meter to move. then the meter works. i have never traced it down. i have
added a 4 pin mike connector and use a lafayette "range boost" (turner plus
3) desk mike, which will be included. there are three wheat pennies glued on
the ptt bar, don't ask me why.
    1 SB-640 external vfo. clean, works. inside is a little dusty. face and
cabinet are nice. replaced bulbs.
    1 SB-600 speaker with hp-23a power supply. supply not mounted in
cabinet. i was a little disappointed in this one. came off ebay. needs a
repaint. someone also put a phono jack on the front lower right of the face.
it works.
    1 HM-102 Watt meter. very nice shape. has the remote deal for the coax
connections. glass not cracked and no letter rubs.
    1 HD-1426 field strength meter nice shape. works.

    i have a manual for the 101, but it's in kinda sad shape.

    price: $350.00 plus shipping, which i feel is pretty fair. will ship to
lower 48 states. payment can be made by postal money order. payment will
clear before equipment is shipped.

    thanks and just so you'll know, i'm keeping my hw-9 station.
