Kinda OT: Swan Mark I Linear expected output on 4-400A's in G-G?

Easy!  Just plug them into the socket.  If you look at the bases, the 3 grid
pins on the 3-500 are the same as on the 4-400, just that 2 are used for one
grid and 1 for the other in the case of the 4-400.

OK then, follow-up question:  How much could I expect to get from a pair of
3-500z's in the same circuit?  If it is that much more, I should consider
breaking down and getting some of these instead of the 4-400A's.

Where did you get the numbers you quoted for the 4-400A in G-G?  I have never
seen that anywhere.
