Yes. Not in a HW-101 but in several SB-401s and a SB-101. You should also
replace the 200 balance pot with a multi-turn trimpot and the "end"
resistors with modern resistors. Doing all this will give at least a -40 db
carrier null. The diodes I used were matched quads p/n hp5082-2805. which I
bought from a subscriber of this reflector. (Don't remember his name.)
