Another Heath Ham SK

It's with a very sad heart that I must report the passing of Bud Lange,
WA8EPO a former Heath engineer. Bud worked for many years in the TV
group at Heath, up to the first "digital" models we had. He was then
transferred to the Regulatory Compliance group and worked on insuring
that all Heath products exceeded the FCC and other government agency
requirements for safety and emissions. In addition to being a ham, he
was also a licensed private pilot and spent many years as a Sheriff's
auxilliary member.

Bud was active up until about two weeks ago. He was discovered to have
cancer while in the hospital for an arthritic problem. The doctors
thought chemo would stop the cancer, and to some extent it did, but other
complications must have set in and he spent the last two weeks in real
discomfort. His kids, in a final tribute, sent one last email from his
JUNO account (wa8epo at juno.com) simply saying that he "signed off for the
last time".
