HW-101, Rx Sensitivity Increase After First Transmit

Final Report.
A great many people replied that the likely culprit was a dirty relay so I
cleaned the contacts.  They were incredibly dirty, amazing the rig worked at
all, but after cleaning the problem remained.

Out with the trusty IT-17 tube tester, bad section on a 6EA8, replaced it,
problem solved.

Now a follow-on question.  While poking around I noticed the 6BN8 (right
front corner of rig) had what appeared to be very hot wires just below the
business part of the tube.  On closer examination it looked like the
filament extends down from the cathode to the tube pin, and it glows just as
a filament should.  Anyone else noticed this in a 6BN8 or another tube?
