Removing black permanent marker pen from SB-200 front panel

I would suggest using a "dry marker", one that is used to draw on white
boards and then can be erased.

I had an instructor that had a prank pulled on him by replacing his dry
markers with permanent.  Once he noticed it, he non-chalantly used a dry
marker to erase it.

  I would suggest trying it on a spot that wouldn't be noticed.
