I have seen them for as little as $35 up to around
$125. About $70 for an average. I did get mine plus
a separate power supply for $1 at a local club auction
(it is in excellent condition as well)! But, don't
count on that type of price everywhere.
In my opinion, the audio quality from a phasing device
like the SB-10 is a fair bit better than the filter
type units. Also, the carrier supression is better
than the average filter unit. However, it is a bit of
a "bear" in the fact that you have to retune the SB-10
if you QSY more than a few KHz.
I used an SB-10 with a modified Heath MT-1 Cheyenne
when I was in college (1966). The combination worked
very well. I now have the complete original Heath
"twins" (Apache, Mohawk, Warrior, SB-10, AK-5, etc.)
station but usually use the station for AM.

What are SB-10's going for now days? I just got an
Apache and thought it needs some company with it.
