Neutralizing 401 Finals ???

The xtal pack and the 303 have nothing to do with it, set the
401 up as a stand alone transmitter and do the standard
procedure. In the manual they tell you to adjust the neut.
cap for minimum and then re-peak the final tune control
and then re-adjust the neut. cap, DON'T DO IT THAT
WAY, simply tune the transmitter up on 28.5 Mhz,
remove the plate and screen voltage from the finals,
adjust the cap for feedthrough null and that's it. If
you follow the manual you'll go back and forth
twenty times and chase your tail.
