SB401 Neutralization???

More of a question after I got answers.
I have a Drake. When I Neutralize finals on it I do not have to cut any
connections to the screen or plate.
On the Drake I turn the trim cap in the finals to get a null when I get the
highest RF output.
In other words the null or lowest dip of plate should take place at the same
time as the highest watts out.
Why won't this work on the Heath?
Does anyone know of a way to do this process without having to open the radio
up and do major surgery?
