Figure 1 of the Cantenna manual is a graph showing how
long the unit can safely dissipate power for various power
levels.  It has two curves, one for transformer oil and
one for mineral oil.  (I would attach a scan of the page,
but I think the list server would gag on that.  I'll email
a scan to anyone who asks.)

The two curves are congruent up to 400 watts (30 minutes)
and diverge after that.  1000 watts can be applied for 10
minutes with transformer oil, or for about a minute and a
half with mineral oil.

The specs state the power dissipation as "1 kilowatt
maximum (ICAS)".  Remember ICAS?--  intermittent
commercial or amateur service?  Note the "intermittent".

Elsewhere in the manual you're told to shut the power off
for a while if you can't hold your hand to the outside of
the can.
