SB-401 crystal pack

To answer his question:  There are a total of 10
crystals in the crystal pack.  8 of these are the
heterodyne oscillator crystals which are on the top
side and 2 are for the USB and LSB BFO crystals which
are on the underside.  The BFO crystal for CW comes
with the SB-401 basic unit.

When used in transceive with the SB-300, SB-301, or
SB-303, the receiver supplies the BFO for the USB and
LSB operation.
