It's a boat anchor by weight anyway. I have an FT-101X that is in perfect shape, well almost. Has been very dependable. Went into storage for a year standing on edge if that matters, Plugged in today and promptly blew a fuse. Got out the variac. At about 15 volts AC a ticking was heard very steady about 2 beats per second emitting from the speaker!!  Advancing the voltage a liile only increased volume of the clicks, not the freq. of them. What's up??  Any ideas? Fred W7PRV
