33mmfd Capacitor

I was unpacking some of my stuff after moving and came across
this package.  It says it is a capacitor, min 33mmfd and 1750 volts test.

Symbol C141, C142, C143, C144
General Electric Co.
Schenectady N.Y. USA
It says it was packaged July 15 1944
Do not open until ready to use.
I seem to remember opening one of these up and it is a variable Cap.
well packed for shipment overseas.
Anyone interested?
