Heath Most Accurate Clock II

Hello,

I have a GC-1001 and a venerable GC-1000.  I really love both clocks but my
1001 recently started acting strange.  It would not go into the High Spec
mode for days at a time and when it did, it would display a spurious time.
I took the clock to my local Heathkit Expert and Electrical Engineer who
diagnosed the problem as a failing microprocessor.  Unfortunately, he has no
idea where to obtain a replacement.

Can any of the listers here suggest a source?
