Need Crystal

Hi  -- My need isn't for a Heath unit crystal (maybe) but something different.  I have a WWII BC-221 (SCR-211)frequency meter that I use for aligning Heathkit sig gens and other such chores, and also I just like it since it is basically the same as the Navy LM that I used in the Dark Ages.  In case anyone doesn't know, this unit uses a 1000 kHz crystal as its reference.  This crystal is in a package that looks like a black metal radio tube, and plugs into a standard octal tube socket.  Can anyone direct me to any one or any place place that might be able to provide?  Any and all responses will be most welcome.  Cheers, Richard F. Bidwell.
