Compactron tubes in Heathkit??

Did Heath ever use them? I have some 6kd6, 6jf6, 6lq6 and 6je6's, all TV sweep types with the last sockets used for tubes (9 and 12 pin compactron); wonder if Heath ever used that style? I seem to recall they did just before going all solid state.  Anyone know?
