Vast: re Heathkit cantenna resistance

I have HN-31 that  is OK,I measured the resistance
(cold,and resistance deep in the oil) it was 53.9 ohms
I measured with two multimeters,Fluke 77 and Beckman
Circuitmate DM25L,and the result was the same.

I have three HN-31 Cantennas. Two measure about 76 ohms and the other about 46 ohms. Measured with two good quality DVM's. Should the resistance be 50 ohms dc. Anyone know what I should see with ohm meter.
