This is some info I got back in January 03. There are probably others. It
would be nice to have a complete list. I sure would be interested in
having it. So If anyone knows of other to add please let us know.

Heathkit filters

404-285 is the Heath "De-Luxe" AM filter.
  3.75 kHz @ 6 db and 10 kHz @ 60 dB. It was
used in the SB hamband receivers.

404-314 is the cheaper AM filter.
  5 kHz @ 6 dB and 15 kHz @ 50 dB. It was
used in the SB SW receivers--SB-310 and
  SB-313.

404-328 is a cheap SSB filter.
  2.1 kHz @ 6 dB and 7 kHz @ 60 dB.
This filter is used in the HW-101 transceivers.
I think this filter uses four crystals instead of
the six used in the better 404-283 SSB filter.

404-283 is the better SSB filter .
  cf 3.395MHz

  404-284 is the CW filter.
  cf-3395.4KHz Zin-Out 2K. 400 Hz @ 6db
  2KHz @60db

1. These filters are thin cased as compared to the "fat" filters
used in the SB-100 and HW-100. The thin filters have two center
attach bolts and two center wire connections. The fat filters
have 4 corner bolts.

2. In a part number that is written as 404-m285p364, the "m" means
that the case is metal. The "p364" is a paint code and in this
case, means black
