Chassis and Cabinet Repair

Does anyone have any suggestions for repairing dented or bent cabinets or
chassis?  Any methods that do not involve complete disassembly?  I have
started to try cutting pieces of wood to overcorrect by clamping, but have
not been able to fully correct with this method...does anyone think this is
a method that is worth pursuing?  Yes, I have done autobody work but not too
eager to take out the welder and body hammers.
