Well, Bob did you really mean that you'll put this resistor combination in "short" circuit over the 12,6V
filament? You have calculated so,I think James is right
putting that resistor combination IN SERIE on the filament line that solution makes the correct results.
The resistor combination will be well capable for this current on that line,and does not any harm for the power
supply,I think the result against the power supply is opposite way,it is reducing the current as well as the watts
in complite circuit.
So,not any april fool hi!
