To all who responded. I am sorry my text confused some of you. I thought it
would be obvious that the 0.25 (1/4) ohm resistance was to be inserted in series with the so called 12.6 vac lead in the hp23 power supply. Not between
it and ground. The four (4) 1 ohm paralled run very cool and have been in use
for over ten years. B-plus and bias voltages remain the same. For me it works.
