Variable caps

Awhile back, the topic came up about conductive grease used on the wipers of VFO tuning caps. I have the problem of shifting frequency in my Apache, HW100 and even my Kenwood TS520S as it is tuned around the band. Does anyone know of a cure and if the old type grease is still available?
