GC-1092D date question

Gang,

I have several GC-1092D clocks and they all seem to believe that every
month has 31 days. It's hard for me to believe they are all defective,
but it's also hard to believe Mostek would have designed a date function
like this. The manual makes no mention.

Anyone else's 1092D work this way?
