MODERATOR: PLEASE POST THIS MESSAGE -- AB8HR's E-mail address has been added.

Hello Heath fans:

This is a difficult message to write. A friend whom I've known for about two decades, Dick Cragg, AB8HR, is in rapidly declining health. He wants to dispose of his "toys" so that his wife and family won't be burdened with that task after he's gone.

Dick is a former Western Electric engineer, and he maintained his equipment with the same high standards that he learned in his long tenure with Western Electric. His Heathkits were all meticulously assembled.

He decided to post his gear here and depend upon the honor of the Heath brethren not to take advantage of an ailing old man. It's breaking his heart to have to do this. Please think of yourself in his position if/when making an offer on his gear. Thanks in advance for your help.

Best DX and

Very 73,

John, W8QA
