SB 401

What is the purpose of the Accessary SBA 401-1 kit.  I rec a SB 401 today
and the underneath of the radio it had a place for 3 crystals,,  The book
on page 96 states the  crystals are 3396.4 USB,,center crystal is 3395.4
and the back crystal is a 3393.6 LSB.
The center crystal 3395.4 was there, but the other 2 crystals were
missing.  How important are these crystals, and is that the location of the
SBA-401-1 under the radio..

Also is there a person in Tacoma Olympia or Rochester, WA area that are
familiar with the heathkit radios
