Transformer woes

If your favorite Heathkit is out of commission because of a failure of
the high voltage winding, and if you haven't thrown the old transformer
away you might want to hold onto it.  Very often the high voltage winding
is the one on the outside; that is, wound over the primary and lower
voltage windings.  This makes rewinding a much more attractive
proposition.  I'm sure there are a few individuals on this reflector who
would undertake such a task  -  -  for a reasonable fee, of course.
