Re IG-5240

Ed.. the IG-5240 sold for $69.95 in the 1977 catalogue.
I built one way back then and still use it for convergence work on my older TV's. My Magnavox 46" did not have autoconvergence, that came a bit later.
Judging by the reaction from a local TV guy who changed a HV supply in the big Magnavox when he saw my IG-5240 (he had forgotten to bring his generator along when they delivered the set back) he was very interested in the compact size and performance and wanted to buy it.

The 3 gun full screen rainbow pattern is a little wimpy, but all else is excellent.

Find a guy who services sets that don't autoconverge and you will likely find a customer
