Marauder ALC problem

Hello All,
I am wondering if someone can shed some light on a
problem that popped up on my Marauder recently.
What I notice is that I am not getting proper ALC
action on USB and am getting reduced power output,
however LSB is fine. I get very little meter movement
in the ALC position on USB almost as if there is no or
low audio. I injected tone to check the the speech amp
output and it is the same in USB and LSB. I recleaned
the mode switch contacts and tested them and dont seem
to have any issues there either. What puzzles me is
that it is affecting USB and not LSB and I am not sure
where to look next.
Any ideas or suggestions are most appreciated.
