IO-4550

Hello Group, I have a great looking Heathkit scope IO-4550, and no book for it. When I turn it on a couple of small resistors smoke, and a small chip gets rather hot. All this happens on the 85-2372-1 board. any one have a schematic for this scope, or maybe just this particular board, or some advice. This thing is just to pretty to throw away.
