Cleaning/Deoxidizing SB-220?

Question for the list. I recently bought a SB-220. It is in pretty nice
shape but rather dusty/dirty and the chassis, etc... is a little less than
shiny new. I wouldn't go as far as to say the panels are "corroded", but I
would say they are a little whitish here and there (aluminum oxide). What
would be the best/easiest way to restore the shine/finish on the chassis?
What cleans front panels best without washing out silk screened lettering?
I have a couple of cans of deoxit that I bought when I began restoring my own
rigs and those that I bought but haven't restored anything with this much
metal to date. I don't think going hog wild spraying everything would be a
good way to go, capillary action into joints, etc.. Spray it on a rag and
scrub? Use Navel Jelly?
Your thoughts/recommendations please! Thanks in advance.
