Help me if you can

I have a family heirloom, model #GC1195 Heathkit Digital Clock.  It was made
in the 70's.  I cannot find anyone locally that can repair it.  I am in the
Shreveport/Bossier City, LA area.  It was working up until short time ago.
We had a power surge which blew a fuse in the back.  I replaced the fuse and
I think it is a
transistor that is smoking and whole thing is arcing.  Any help you can
provide,
we be appreciated.
