Heahkit SB-1000

Thanks to everbody who responded to my questions in regard to the problem
with SB-1000 which was drawing plate current without being keyed and had
negative grid current. I found that the filament circuit was shorted to the
chassis when I checked it with an ohm-meter. I then examined the filament
wiring carefully and finally found a loose star washer stuck between one of
the filament wire lugs and the chassis. It was hidden below one of the
small disc caps so that I did not see it until I shined a light parallel to
the chassis and under the tube socket and wiring. Removing the washer
cleared the short and the amp now seems to work okay. Thanks for your help.
