Sort of Off Topic - Probes

The original Amphenol threads and the original
military PL-259 threads are the same.  However, with
all of the import PL-259 plugs that are around these
days, some of them don't fit the older SO-239
connectors very well as well.  Probably a problem in
converting from English to Metric.  The connectors are
actually being made in a Metric plant and the
conversion from English measurements is probably not
"exact".
