> the shaft of the final tune/load knob goes into a plastic piece with two
> set > screws  that connects
> the shaft to the variable capacitor.   one of the set screws is stripped.
I just repaired one with both stripped as follows:
1. Filled the holes with J&B Weld using a straw inside to retain while
    curing over night.
2. Drilled and tapped new holes for a 6-32 set screw on the opposite
    side.
Works fine not a lot of torsion on that part.
