Unbuilt Heathkits

I read the original message differently than most of the other List subscribers. The poster wrote that his client had "acquired Heathkit's entire inventory when they went out of business in the mid 80's."

Thinking back to the time Heath got out of the kit business, much of their kit line consisted of one-evening jobs in little, injection-molded-plastic cases. Therefore, the odds of finding an unbuilt SB-102A are close to zero.

Check one of their very last catalogs to see what Heath was selling at the time, and then try to think which kits would most likely have been their slowest movers. THAT'S what's setting in this man's warehouse.
