Minimum Test Bench Equipment

Neil -

OK. And how do you check for the presence of voltage? With
a wet finger, or just short the terminal with the
screwdriver and gauge by the size of the spark? :-)

I'd like to have a VOM in addition to your two items.

I agree with the concept though. We always said at NASA in
the 60's that you could tell the good techs/engineers. They
were the ones with the _least_ test equipment stacked
around their bench. All the test equipment in the world
isn't going to help if you can't interpret the test results.
