The reverse telephone number lookup brings this answer:
Ross, Peyton
462 Trice Rd
Milner, GA 30257-3432
(770) 233-9383

There's also two John Wood's (his friend) listed in Griffin, GA:
Wood, John B. Jr.
221 Horseshoe Bend Cir,
Griffin, GA 30223-8410
(770) 227-2253

Wood, John T
3322 Newnan Rd,
Griffin, GA 30223-8337
(770) 229-1174

There's also three Robert Wood's listed in NC that are hams:
Robert J. Wood, K4WI, Age 96
Robert S. Wood, N4WHX, Age 43
Robert W. Wood, WD4BQL, Age 61

"from a dead key sale of a friend" Must be his variation of "silent
key".

This Sean Peyton Ross doesn't seem to have a call. However, a Larry M.
Shuman, KG4IQF, lives at 447 Trice Rd., Milner, GA. Must be a neighbor a
few houses away on the opposite side of the street. I haven't seen this
e-mail floating about.
