HULLING THE CARRIER IN THE SB-102

Hi, i just got a mint SB-102 the only thing i can find wrong is the nulling
of the carrier in the USB mode. I have set it only to have it to have carrier
again. It does not change in the LSB mode just USB. Also when i move the tube
 sheild on the 6cl6 driver down to where it should be it than gets the
carrier  down but the output falls off slide the tube sheild up on the tube where it
 don't make ground output goes back up but carrier null gets errattic? It had
no  tube sheilds on the tubes when i got it but i put the ones on that should
be on.  LSB mode the carrier null stays just fine when you adjust it just the
USB  changes. Thank you Terry w9cau
