Coil

I've had two answers- one was 3 turns of the 3" dia- 6 turns per inch coil in parralell with one half of the 437 dual var . For 7.1mhz.  Question is- leave the dual 225 on the plate side of the coil  as is? and the coil is the coil in a pi network with the dual 437 to grond. Sound Right? Thanks
