If it's the 3-prong type, contact some older office machine repair places in
your area. Some of the older adding machines used this type of cord.
Another solution is to get some Molex pins, solder them to the wires, slip
some heat shrink tubing over them and plug them onto the socket pins.
Another solution is to remove the socket assembly, save it for the time when
you get a cable and hard wire a cable in place.  Finally you can remove the
socket, cut a piece of aluminum plate to fill the hole, drill matching holes
in the plate to mount the plate to the chassis, mount a cable in the center
of the plate, and hard wire internally.  Keep the original socket for a
future cable.  These options retain the original status of the radio.



Needless to say the original type cables are almost impossible to find.
