hw101 problems part two

thanks for the hints, but most of those I already have done.

the modulator diodes are fine, been replaced
the carrier balance pot is fine, been replaced

the shields are in place

did the grounding thing on all hardware

the radio works fine in tune position, but key the mic and the speaker howls
and it produces 100 watts

when you increase the mic gain and talk into the mic, you can hear yourself
in the radio's speaker...

cleaned the relays...

about ready to phone the pope!
