Hi Dwight--

The article _Restoring the HW-101_ in the November '01 issue
of _CQ_ has a nice explanation of the evolution and
differences in the HW and SB lines.

One big difference is that the 101 has a more elaborate dial
mechanism.  Many complained that the one in the 100 suffered
from wobble and backlash.  I've had both a 100 and a 101, and
I had no complaint about the 100's dial drive, but apparently
I was simply lucky to have one that worked well.
