IM-28 info needed

Bob,
I believe the IM-28 is essentially the same as the IM-13.
I could send PDF scanned schematic and operating data (if you can open PDF
scans) for the IM-13.
But I believe this is already on the web for free download and Google will
find it.
You need two probes;one with a 1 meg resistor in the tip,the oter with no
resistor.
Use RG58/AU NOT straight RG 58 without the "AU" for cable.
Mouser sells the empty probe housings.Hosfelt has the best deal on cable and
will sell it in short lengths(not requiring a 100 ft. roll purchase!)
Use a 1 watt resistor to gain the higher breakdown voltage value advantage.
The phone plug should be of the type that prevents high voltage arcing such
as government surplus type from Fair Radio Sales.Do not use cheap radio
Shack phone plug.
