Off topic transformer question

I'm sure there was a guarantee that the transformer in the HT-37 on eBay was a good one? Hi, Hi!  I bought a Swan 500 that was perfect the last time it was on!  It still had a bird's nest in it!  I guess it did work well for the purpose the bird wanted!

Also, a complete HT-37 went for 157.00 + $45 shipping on E-Bay July 6, sooooo....failing AES, maybe wait for a parts chassis?

Transformer winding is a VERY labor-intensive process, unfortunately.
